Sam's smile restoration

Sam came to Lynn Road Dental Practice for his routine dental health review some time ago and needed treatment. This was put off for a while but eventually, Sam decided to go ahead in order to protect his oral health and prevent further problems. Sam needed a root canal, a crown and a filling.

What we did

We started with the root canal treatment which was completed over 2 appointments. At the second appointment we took an impression of his teeth to send to our highly skilled technicians to make the crown. After this had been made in our dental laboratory, Sam returned for his final appointment where we placed the crown and finally did the filling. Our dentist ensured Sam was at ease at all times and informed of the treatment as we proceeded.

Outcome

Sam left with the problem tooth resolved with the root canal and a crown to give a cosmetic finish and function for eating. We also applied a filling to prevent any further decay and recommended Sam come for regular hygiene visits to stay on top of his oral health. Sam’s smile has been restored without pain or discomfort.

Lovely reception staff Lovely dentist, Mo, very caring and informative Lovely hygienist. Like the new machine. Very expensive, as a pensioner priced me out of the plans, raising plan 2 by 19.5% was, in my opinion excessive. I like the practice, been with them for years maybe they should consider a more affordable pensioner plan.

I am a difficult patient who has trouble getting properly numb before a procedure. The problem I stated having in an earlier question was that the first injection wasn’t enough. Dr. Mo has built a rapport with me and knows my discomfort cues well at this point he was able to catch it before I even complained and offered more anaesthetic. The fear I have about going to the dentist is being eased more and more with every visit I make to this practice. I hate going to the dentist, it frightens me to the point I’d call it a phobia. The team here is fixing years of psychological damage they didn’t cause.
