Benefits of Invisalign clear aligners from Lynn Road Dental Practice in Kings Lynn:

Removable
Life can continue as normal, as the Invisalign System discreetly does its work. As Invisalign aligners are removable, it’s easy to maintain your regular oral hygiene and enjoy your usual diet. You should simply wear your aligners for the recommended 22 hours a day to see the best results.

Comfortable
Only Invisalign clear aligners use SmartTrack material to shape your smile with such precision, comfort and predictability. SmartTrack material is highly elastic for an improved aligner fit and greater comfort.

Near invisible
Invisalign clear aligners are so discreet, it will be difficult to notice you are undergoing teeth straightening treatment.

The Invisalign treatment process is straightforward and technically advanced:

  1. Consultation and planning
After an initial consultation, our Invisalign dentist, our dentist will take photos, X-rays and digital scans, or a dental impression, of your teeth. These records will be used to create a ClinCheck 3D treatment plan, just for you. ClinCheck technology digitally maps your entire Invisalign journey, so you can see what your new smile is predicted to look like before treatment even begins.
  2. Transformation
We’ll then custom make your aligners using state of the art 3D printing technology, before our dentist provides you with your initial sets of aligners, to start your treatment. You’ll need to wear each aligner for 1-2 weeks before changing to the next, to slowly and efficiently move the teeth inline. our dentist will see you every 4–6 weeks to check your progress and provide you with your next sequence of aligners.
  3. Retaining your new smile
Once your new smile is achieved, you’ll need to wear a retainer to ensure your teeth remain beautifully aligned. Retainers can either be removable clear trays, similar to a mouth guard, or a fixed retainer which are discreetly attached to the back of the teeth for continual support.

FAQ's

Invisalign is a clear aligner system designed to straighten teeth discreetly and comfortably without the need for metal braces.

Invisalign uses custom-made, clear aligners to gradually move your teeth into their desired position. You'll wear each set of aligners for about 1-2 weeks before switching to the next set in the series.

  • Virtually invisible
  • Removable for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing
  • More comfortable with no wires or brackets
  • Fewer visits to the dentist for adjustments

Treatment length depending on the complexity of your case, but most treatments range from 6 to 18 months.

  • Initial consultation to determine your sustainability
  • Digital scans or impressions to create a personalised treatment plan
  • Receive your custom aligners aligners and begin treatment
  • Periodic check-ins to monitor progress

You'll typically need to visit every 6-8 weeks so your dentist can ensure the treatment is progressing as planned.

For best results, aligners should be worn 20-22 hours per day and only removed for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing.

You should remove your aligners when earing or drinking anything other than water to prevent staining or damaging the aligners.

  • Rinse aligners with lukewarm water and clean them using a soft toothbrush and clear, non abrasive soap
  • Avoid using hot water, which can warp the aligners

Yes, wearing a retainer after treatment helps maintain your results by preventing teeth from shifting back to their original position.

Initially, retainers are worn full-time, but over time, your dentist may recommend wearing them only at night.

Lovely reception staff
Lovely dentist, Mo, very caring and informative
Lovely hygienist. Like the new machine.
Very expensive, as a pensioner priced me out of the plans, raising plan 2 by 19.5% was, in my opinion excessive.
I like the practice, been with them for years maybe they should consider a more affordable pensioner plan.

My hygienist appointment with Sarah and Keira went very well, Sarah explained in depth about the new procedure, using the new warm water and bicarbonate of soda method. It was painless and the results were brilliant, they did a very good job on my elderly and uneven teeth. Good team work!

Good work from Sarah and impressive new cleaning equipment (Air system) and confident assistance from Keira. Dentistry certainly has improved since the dark days of my youth via the dreaded school dentist.

I liked the new procedure used by the hygienist. It was a more comfortable experience, which was carefully described and executed.

I am a difficult patient who has trouble getting properly numb before a procedure. The problem I stated having in an earlier question was that the first injection wasn’t enough. Dr. Mo has built a rapport with me and knows my discomfort cues well at this point he was able to catch it before I even complained and offered more anaesthetic. The fear I have about going to the dentist is being eased more and more with every visit I make to this practice. I hate going to the dentist, it frightens me to the point I’d call it a phobia. The team here is fixing years of psychological damage they didn’t cause.

I’m a very anxious patient and I was put completely at ease, no painful moments which is always a bonus
